To standardize processes, reduce the cost to serve, enable agility in the business and empower colleagues to do even more for our customers, we have set up a dedicated team called Tesco Business Services across our markets. In 2004, the first centre in Bengaluru, India was established. The Budapest centre established in 2019 provides dedicated support for colleagues and customers in the Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia markets. Based in our Váci út office, these multi-functional and specialist teams drive operational excellence of services, improve scale for our systems and processes globally and create business leading capabilities. Over the course of the last years, we have been on a journey to create a sustainable competitive advantage for Tesco through a world-class business services model. In spring 2023, we changed our name from Tesco Business Services to Tesco Business Solutions as we drive a solutions mindset to whatever we do, and whomever we partner with. In 2023, Tesco Business Solutions won the World's Best GBS (Global Business Services) award by SSON. In March 2024, Tesco Business Solutions was named the Most Vibrant Employer in Hungary at the CEE Business Services Summit & Awards in Warsaw. In 2024, Tesco Business Solutions was named as runner-up for the World's Best GBS (Global Business Services) award by SSON.
