Securities Consultant (Part-Time)

Location: 100% Remote

Schedule: 20–25 hours per week (approximately 9am–1pm EST)

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Securities Consultant to serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for securities laws and regulations within our next-generation compliance product. This part-time consultant will be instrumental in structuring, maintaining, and translating complex legal and regulatory requirements into actionable compliance content that drives innovation across our SaaS-based compliance platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Taxonomy Development: Design, implement, and refine a comprehensive securities taxonomy to ensure accurate classification and retrieval of regulatory obligations.
• Training & Enablement: Develop and deliver onboarding and reference materials for team members at varying levels of securities expertise.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed QA reviews of securities-related content to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory intent.
• AI Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and AI teams to train and validate models that extract and summarize securities-related requirements from source laws and regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product management, content operations, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of securities content within the compliance platform.

Qualifications:

• J.D. or equivalent experience in securities law, financial regulation, or compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. securities laws and regulatory bodies.
• Proven experience developing structured legal or regulatory content—ideally in a SaaS or compliance product environment.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
• Familiarity with GenAI, NLP, or other content automation technologies is highly desirable.
