Platform Engineer

100% Remote - Platform Engineer or developer - 2 months contract (short term)

Required skills : Python, React, Node , DevOps, Backstage

Key Responsibilities:

Design and build modular, efficient, and maintainable platform components using Python, React, and Node.js.

Develop and extend internal developer portals or service catalogs, preferably using Backstage.

Integrate platform services and tools with AWS infrastructure for scalability, reliability, and security.

Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment workflows using DevOps best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve developer productivity and platform performance.

Maintain clean, reusable code with appropriate testing and documentation.

Required skills and Experience:

Proven experience developing production-grade applications using Python, React, and Node.js.

Expertise in leveraging AWS services for building and deploying scalable applications.

Strong understanding of DevOps concepts including automation, monitoring, and continuous integration.

Hands-on experience or strong familiarity with Backstage is highly preferred.

Solid understanding of system design, API integrations, and microservice architecture.

Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment with minimal supervision.
