About The Role
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will interface with key stakeholders and leverage your technical expertise across various stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. Your responsibilities will include requirements elicitation, defining application architecture, and designing high-level artifacts. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality code modules, leading validation efforts for various testing phases, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a learning-oriented environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and innovation. The role is remote-friendly, with the flexibility to work from anywhere within the United States, and may require occasional travel based on project needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution (or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education)
- At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
- Experience with code quality and security tools
- Understanding of secure Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. (U.S. persons as defined by 22 C.F.R.
- 120.15)
- Ability to work remotely within the US
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for DevOps processes and tools
- Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes
- Implement and manage security scans and code analysis tools such as OWASP, SAST/DAST, and container security solutions like Anchore
- Support DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security best practices into pipelines and workflows
- Configure and optimize artifact repositories such as Nexus and Artifactory
- Monitor system vulnerabilities, perform remediation, and ensure compliance with aerospace or defense regulations as required
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages including Shell, Groovy, and Python
- Collaborate with security teams to support vulnerability management and security assessments
- Administer version control systems and ensure best practices are followed
- Participate in troubleshooting, incident management, and continuous improvement activities
