πŸ” Company: Cyber Security SaaS start-up building AI agents to identify and resolve cloud vulnerabilities

We’re looking for an accomplished Engineering Director to lead a rapidly scaling engineering organisation at a high-growth tech company operating at the intersection of AI and Cyber Security.


You'll have oversight of not only Software Engineering, but also Data Engineering, Agentic AI and Machine Learning Engineering teams - and need to have a proven track record of leading multi disciplinary teams. Any knowledge of Cyber Security or experience leading Security teams is also highly desirable.


βœ… Must have requirements:

  • Experience leading engineering teams within AI, ML, or data-focused product environments. You need to have managed teams building AI-powered features and understand the architecture behind them.
  • Experience orchestrating multiple product or platform teams, ensuring alignment, resource balance and smooth collaboration.
  • Track record of scaling teams through hyper-growth (20 β†’ 100+), ideally within a fast-moving technology company.
  • Technical depth - ability to participate in architecture discussions, code reviews and engage with engineers at a technical level to earn credibility and trust.
  • Customer-driven thinking - measuring engineering success by the value delivered to customers and the business, not just throughput or sprint metrics.
  • Strong people leadership with a proven success building, managing, and developing high-performing teams with empathy, structure, and clarity.
  • Executive presence - experience working in close collaboration with senior technical and business leaders, sharing ownership of decisions and outcomes.
  • Being excited by fast-paced environments, ambiguity and the challenges of building at scale.
