Data Scientist

Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist ($150K – $250K + equity), with 4+ years of professional experience and an interest in the DeFi industry.

We are the first automated, on-chain economic security system for optimizing risk management and capital efficiency in crypto protocols and we work with top protocols like AAVE, dYdX, Lido and Uniswap, securing billions of dollars in assets.

What you’ll do:

• Drive Innovative Research: Lead groundbreaking research initiatives to understand the behaviors and interactions of diverse participants within the crypto market.
• Integrate Behavioral Models: Oversee the integration of these behavioral models into our client’s cutting-edge simulation platform.
• Share Insights: Communicate your findings and recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders, with opportunities to publish influential research in the field.
• Explore Algorithms: Discover new algorithms and methodologies to gain insights into DeFi security and optimization strategies.
• Create Data Models & Visualizations: Develop data models and visualizations of public blockchain data and simulation results, providing user-friendly analytics for clients like AAVE, Uniswap, dYdX, and others.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in Data Science.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and relevant data science libraries.
• Expertise: Strong knowledge of machine learning techniques and algorithms.
• Practical Application: Proven experience in model development, implementing production-level solutions, and performance monitoring.

Nice to have / Bonus:

• Educational Background: Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Industry Knowledge: Previous exposure to FinTech or DeFi domains.
• Crypto Savvy: Familiarity with crypto and blockchain.
• Web3 Experience: Prior involvement with web3 technologies such as Dune or smart contract development.
