Shopware System Administrator
Rate- £350/day Outside IR35.
Duration- 3 months
Location- Fully remote
Immediate starter required
Our client is a global software distribution company undergoing a major digital transformation across their vendor portal and marketplace, keen to hire a Shopware Administrator. Specific experience with Shopware is highly desirable, though a strong background in e-commerce and similar platforms can be a good starting point.
Responsibilities
- Platform management: Install, configure, and maintain Shopware environments (open-source or cloud-based).
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with servers, databases, and the overall Shopware platform.
- Monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improvement.
- Ensure the security of the e-commerce platform and customer data.
- Updates and maintenance: Handle software updates and maintenance, especially in a SaaS environment where updates are often automatic.
- Technical skills: Experience with server hardware, networking, and database administration (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) is essential.
