Lead Java Developer

An innovative company providing comprehensive Point of Sale (POS) systems seeks a Senior Java Developer to progress to a Lead position as they are building up a brand new team in the UK.

Working with some high profile clients, they are using cutting-edge solutions to streamline operations and drive business growth while creating a wholesome experience for the end customer.

📍UK - Fully Remote, but must be based in the UK

📌 Salary up to £100,000

Responsibilities of the Lead Java Developer:

• Define project requirements and timelines with cross-functional teams
• Technical Leadership & mentorship
• Design & Architecture
• Develop and improve APIs, as well as effectively utilize them
• Seamlessly integrate Java systems with third-party platforms and services

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Java development experience & Spring/Spring Boot
• Proven technical leadership experience
• Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Travis CI
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
