This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Junior Full Stack Developer in the United States.
As a Junior Full Stack Developer, you will join a collaborative, fast-paced Agile DevOps team, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of full stack software solutions. You will support both front-end and back-end development, working on REST APIs, data access layers, and user interfaces, while ensuring high-quality code that meets CI/CD pipeline standards. This role offers exposure to large-scale enterprise applications in AWS environments and opportunities to grow your technical expertise in modern development frameworks. You will collaborate closely with peers, participate in software architecture discussions, and deliver solutions that meet business and user needs. U.S. citizenship and a minimum of a Public Trust clearance are required, and the position is fully remote.
Accountabilities:
- Participate actively in Agile DevOps team sprints, contributing to planning, coding, testing, and deployment
- Analyze software requirements and assist in architecting scalable solutions
- Develop and maintain full stack applications including front-end interfaces, REST APIs, and data access layers
- Ensure all code passes stages of the CI/CD pipeline and meets quality standards
- Support software maintenance, debugging, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and innovative solutions
- U.S. citizenship with a minimum of a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience/certifications
- Minimum of 2 years in IT, with a focus on development projects, DevSecOps, and application development
- Strong experience with Java Spring Boot, JPA, and enterprise application deployment in AWS
- Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue, or jQuery) and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON)
- Familiarity with Docker, Docker Compose, CI/CD tools, automated testing (unit, integration, functional), and microservices
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Desired experience: secure coding practices, AWS tools, Kubernetes, SOAP/REST web services, and Agile tools like Jira
