As a Recruiter with Lufthansa Technik Canada, you’ll connect brilliant minds to meaningful careers and help us build the teams that keep the world flying!
Tasks
Your main tasks include, among others:
- Partner with department leads to define job requirements and candidate profiles
- Post job openings on internal and external platforms, including career portals and social media
- Source candidates through various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, career fairs, etc.)
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications
- Define a short-list of preselected/screened candidates
- Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers and provide feedback
- Manage candidate communications and ensure a positive candidate experience
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns
- Assist with onboarding processes and new hire orientation
- All other duties as assigned or required

The ideal Recruiter must fulfill the following requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably in aviation, manufacturing, or technical industries required
- Specific internal recruiting experience within Lufthansa Technik is essential
- Fluency in English language required
- German language desirable
- Strong understanding of the aviation and aerospace industry, particularly within the Engine (ENG) sector required
- Computer skills as expert
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Must possess a legal work permit in Canada
