Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Infor XA / MAPICS Specialist who will be responsible for customizing, supporting, integrating and optimising our ERP environment built on Infor XA. This is a fully remote role with high autonomy and responsibility for enterprise-scale manufacturing/production systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement projects within the Infor XA ERP system, ensuring alignment with business requirements and manufacturing/production processes.
• Customize and configure Infor XA modules (such as COM – Customer Order Management, MRP – Material Requirements Planning, IM – Inventory Management, PUR – Purchasing) to meet organisational needs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders (manufacturing, supply chain, finance, etc.) to analyse processes, identify improvement opportunities, and translate them into system enhancements.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues and maintain system health and stability.
• Integrate Infor XA with other enterprise systems via interfaces / middleware (APIs, file‐feeds, DB2/AS400 links).
• Manage data and develop reports/dashboards: Query tables, write SQL, understand Infor XA data structures.
• Participate (or lead) ERP system upgrades, patches, release deployments and associated change management (for example PTFs on AS/400 / iSeries).

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Hands‐on experience (e.g., 3+ years or more depending on seniority) working with Infor XA / MAPICS ERP systems.
• Strong technical background on IBM i / AS/400 / iSeries platform: RPG (III / IV / ILE / Free‐Form), CL, embedded SQL, DB2
• Solid SQL skills, ability to query/modify Infor XA tables, data modelling a plus.
• Familiarity with Infor XA modules such as COM, MRP, IM, PUR, EPDM, CAS (Cross Application Support) or similar.
• Experience in ERP integrations, APIs, middleware, business process flows and enterprise‐scale manufacturing operations.
