Let's connect: If you want to experience how things are done in the Property & Casualty Global Services team at our headquarters in Hannover / Germany, join us on a permanent basis, commencing at the earliest possible date as a Business Analyst Reinsurance Systems.

You can look forward to

  • Being part of a strategic team responsible for Hannover Re’s central Property & Casualty (P&C) underwriting platform jUWel, supporting our global P&C Treaty portfolio
  • Analyzing and designing business processes and system solutions that enhance efficiency and innovation across our underwriting landscape
  • Working closely with underwriting, pricing, and risk management teams to define and document business requirements
  • Designing and delivering training and enablement activities for colleagues in Hannover and at our international locations
  • Collaborating with IT and automation teams to implement future-oriented solutions
  • Contributing to Hannover Re’s digital transformation through process optimization, automation, and the use of AI-driven technologies

You come equipped with

  • Degree in computer science, (business) mathematics, or a comparable analytical field
  • Proven experience in analyzing business processes and translating requirements into actionable IT specifications
  • Strong interest in the business of an international reinsurer, ideally supported by relevant professional experience in (re)insurance
  • Ability to understand technology beyond the user perspective, including systems, data flows, and databases
  • Excellent communication skills, in combination with business fluent English and conversational German
  • Curious and solution-oriented mindset with a drive to rethink processes and lead meaningful change within a global underwriting community
