Tech Lead in Oracle SOA (AWS Migration)

We are looking for a dynamic Tech Lead in Oracle SOA to lead our team in the implementation and migration of Oracle SOA platforms to AWS. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in Oracle SOA Suite and AWS cloud services while providing leadership and strategic direction in a fast-paced environment. The role is based at our Singapore head office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, migration, and deployment of Oracle SOA solutions on AWS.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide a team of developers in Oracle SOA and AWS best practices.
• Plan and execute the migration of Oracle SOA components to AWS, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of SOA solutions on AWS.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure quality assurance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Oracle SOA Suite and AWS.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in Oracle SOA, AWS, and related technologies.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project timelines and deliverables are met.
• Facilitate communication between developers, architects, and business analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in Oracle SOA Suite, including BPEL, OSB, and BPM.
• Strong background in Java, J2EE, XML, XSD, WSDL, and Web Services.
• Proficiency in Oracle databases, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience with integration tools and technologies, including REST, SOAP, and JMS.
• Proven experience in migrating Oracle SOA platforms to AWS.
• Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
• Knowledge of AWS migration tools and best practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and security principles.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Oracle SOA and AWS certifications.
• Experience with cloud automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
