About The Role
As a Product Owner for Gamification & Features, you will own the journeys and features that drive player motivation, frequency, and session depth. This includes tournaments, jackpots, missions, free spins frameworks, and engagement mechanics that reward ongoing play. You will define how players are rewarded, challenged, and retained through structured experience loops that feel rewarding and fair.
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Own the roadmap for gamification features across all brands and markets.
- Build engaging, retention-focused player loops that boost return rate and session time.
- Translate feature concepts into clear delivery requirements and technical acceptance criteria.
- Work with engineering to evolve the framework powering tournaments, jackpots, and rewards.
- Partner with analytics to measure feature effectiveness and iterate based on data.
- Ensure all features comply with regulatory and responsible gaming obligations.
- Promote new feature capabilities internally and embed them into brand-level execution.
Essential Skills
- Proven feature ownership in engagement, rewards, or user motivation mechanics.
- Strong understanding of behavioural design and feature-level retention drivers.
- Experience building or evolving frameworks (not just one-off campaigns).
- Strong analytical mindset; comfortable digging into usage patterns and optimisation opportunities.
- Skilled at balancing UX, commercial impact, and technical feasibility.
- Experience with gamification design or progression systems.
- Knowledge of jackpots/tournaments/free spins mechanics in regulated markets.
- Experience with experimentation frameworks or segmentation targeting.
- Familiarity with fraud/risk models linked to bonus abuse or high-frequency features.
