Job Title: QA Automation Architect / Lead

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Architect / Lead to drive the design, development and implementation of robust automated testing solutions. This fully remote role is ideal for a technical leader with deep expertise in test automation, frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines, who can guide teams and define QA strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks using Python, Playwright, and Robot Framework.
- Define QA strategies, standards, and best practices across projects.
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform advanced test planning, risk assessment, and architecture for large-scale applications.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor QA engineers, and lead automation initiatives.
- Execute SQL queries for data validation and support test automation scenarios.
- Manage version control and collaboration using Git and related tools.
- Ensure alignment with SDLC, DevOps processes, and QA metrics reporting.
- Continuously research and recommend new tools, frameworks, and approaches to improve test automation efficiency.
- 7+ years of experience in software testing / QA.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.
- 2+ years in QA architecture or lead roles, designing frameworks and guiding teams.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with Playwright and Robot Framework.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Solid knowledge of SQL for database validation.
- Expertise in Git and version control best practices.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, test methodologies, and QA best practices.
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fully remote setup.
