This is a Senior role, ideal for candidates with 5+ years of experience.

Salary:

Up to 35k Dirhams per month (Up to €106k per year, tax free)

We are looking to speak to Language Scientists / LLM Engineers specializing in financial applications to bolster our client's team. You should possess an understanding of LLM architectures, adeptness in mathematics and statistics, and hands-on experience in fine-tuning pre-trained models for finance-specific NLP tasks. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in software engineering, integral for developing and enhancing LLM-based algorithms and applications tailored for finance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the exploration, design, and implementation of LLM architectures customized for NLP tasks in finance
• Conduct analysis and experimentation to enhance trained Large Language Models (LLMs), such as BERT, GPT, and Transformer-based models, for comprehension and generation of financial language
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams comprising finance experts, software developers, data analysts, and product managers to integrate LLM solutions into finance-specific software systems
• Evaluate the efficiency of LLM-based algorithms through testing methodologies utilizing financial datasets
• Apply statistical acumen to analyze financial data, identify patterns, and devise innovative strategies to embed quantitative insights into NLP solutions
• Contribute to the development of tools, libraries, and frameworks optimized for LLM engineering and research within the finance sector

Requirements:

• 5+ years working in Language Scientist / LLM Engineering positions
• Hold a master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field, focusing on Large Language Model (LLM) engineering
• Strong understanding and background in finance and mathematics/statistics
• Proficient in LLM structures like attention mechanisms and self-attention transformer-based models, specifically in finance-related NLP tasks
• Experience with refining existing language models for finance-centric natural language processing tasks using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Hugging Face Transformers
• Strong grasp of statistical principles to analyze data and model financial occurrences
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and optimization of language model-based algorithms for finance applications
• Familiarity with finance principles, markets, and datasets is advantageous
