Our Client is seeking a strategic and influential HR Business Partner Director to serve as a trusted advisor to senior executive leadership. In this individual contributor role, you will shape long-term talent strategies that directly support organizational goals, drive workforce performance, and influence high-impact business decisions. By applying strong business acumen, data-driven insights, and innovative thinking, you will guide complex initiatives that elevate culture, capability, and engagement across the enterprise.


This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment with four days onsite and is based in San Antonio, TX. Relocation support is available.


What You’ll Do:

  • Develop forward-thinking, cost-effective HR strategies aligned with business priorities, tailoring broad talent approaches to the unique needs of each function.
  • Partner with senior executives to drive a culture rooted in agility, innovation, and continuous growth.
  • Use deep business understanding to influence enterprise-level talent programs and shape people strategies that enable long-term success.
  • Apply a digital-first, insights-driven approach to designing strategic HR solutions that strengthen workforce competitiveness.
  • Independently lead complex organizational design, operating model shifts, and other enterprise HR initiatives.
  • Diagnose workforce needs and build targeted talent strategies that drive performance and organizational health.
  • Lead cross-functional programs with wide-ranging impact on people, processes, and structure.
  • Provide strategic inputs for workforce planning, partnering closely with senior leaders, Finance, and Workforce Planning teams.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to executives, offering perspective, challenge, and guidance on key people decisions.
  • Mentor and support other HR Business Partners and HR stakeholders, fostering alignment and capability across the broader HR community.
  • Collaborate as “One HR,” partnering with Centers of Excellence to shape enterprise solutions and influence improved outcomes.
  • Continuously evaluate HR processes, championing enhancements that support evolving business needs.
  • Deliver strategic insights on workforce trends, risks, and opportunities, helping to drive proactive organizational planning.
  • Ensure that people-related risks are monitored and managed in alignment with policies and compliance standards.


What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in HR or strategic business consulting, with a focus on complex, high-impact initiatives.
  • 5+ years of experience influencing and developing talent strategies as an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
  • Proven ability to communicate insights through compelling data storytelling and executive-ready presentations.
  • Expertise in designing long-term talent and organizational strategies within matrixed environments.
  • Strong ability to analyze complex challenges and implement integrated, enterprise-aligned solutions.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build trust with senior leaders.
