Role Summary
Awakn is offering a remote Data Analyst Internship for motivated individuals based in Dublin. This paid internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in analytics, automation, and AI-supported decision-making. Over a two-month period, you will work with real datasets, support client and internal projects, and learn how data powers modern business operations.
This is the perfect role for students or recent graduates wanting meaningful, practical experience in a fast-evolving tech environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and prepare data from various sources for analysis.
- Conduct exploratory analysis using Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Assist in creating dashboards, reports, and visual insights to support internal and client needs.
- Analyse data patterns, trends, and KPIs to guide strategic decision-making.
- Take part in automation-related analytics projects with consultants.
- Document findings and contribute to clear, structured project reports.
Required Qualifications
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, with basic understanding of SQL or Python.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualisation platforms.
- Familiarity with statistical methods or forecasting.
- Prior academic or personal data projects demonstrating analytical ability.
