Pave Talent is hiring on behalf of our client, a rapidly-growing nearshore staffing company connecting top Latin American talent with U.S. and Canadian businesses. This is their first U.S.-based sales hire — a founder-adjacent opportunity to build the sales playbook, shape growth strategy, and advance to VP of Revenue within 5-7 years.

Why This Role Matters

As the Revenue Driver, you'll take full ownership of the sales function — building pipeline through multiple channels (networking events, conferences, Clay automation, referrals), closing $1M+ in annual new business, and mentoring a remote Account Executive. What Success Looks Like:

  • Year 1: Generate $1.M+ in new business revenue (~25 new client placements monthly )
  • Establish a strong presence at 4+ quarterly conferences and weekly local networking events
  • Build pipeline from 2+ channels: Clay automation and self-generated outbound/channel partners
  • Successfully mentor remote team member to increase close rates and sales velocity


What You'll Do

  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract signature across outbound, networking events, conferences, email campaigns, and channel partnerships
  • Build and manage pipeline in HubSpot CRM with disciplined forecasting and follow-up cadence to consistently hit quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Attend 4+ conferences per year (HR Tech, Alchemy, Inc. 5000, industry events) plus weekly local networking groups like Provisors, EO, and Chamber of Commerce to generate qualified leads
  • Mentor a remote Account Executive in Bolivia on sales process, pipeline management, and closing techniques to elevate team performance
  • Collaborate with co-founders on strategic initiatives, including developing channel partner programs, exploring new markets, and refining multi-channel sales strategies
  • Host client-facing events such as lunch-and-learns, happy hours, and business development presentations to establish thought leadership
  • Lead sales process optimization, including commission structure development, territory planning, and experimentation with new lead generation channels
  • Manage deal handoffs to the recruiting team post-signature while maintaining visibility on delivery quality (optional attendance at intake calls)


What You Bring

Required:

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience with at least $1M+ individual quota attainment and consistent President's Club or Top Performer recognition (2-3 years)
  • Proven hunter mentality with demonstrated success generating pipeline through cold outreach, networking, events, and creative prospecting (not just inbound leads)
  • People-as-product sales background in tech staffing, HR-as-a-service, SaaS, or consulting selling to HR/talent decision-makers (VPs of HR, CTOs, business unit leaders)
  • Active Southern California networking presence — already embedded in business groups like Provisors, EO, Chamber of Commerce, or HR industry events
  • CRM mastery (HubSpot preferred) with disciplined pipeline hygiene, accurate forecasting, and structured sales process adherence
  • Entrepreneurial adaptability — thrives in fast-paced, founder-led environments where you build processes on the fly rather than follow corporate playbooks


Preferred:

  • Experience developing channel partner programs or strategic alliances in staffing/consulting/SaaS industries
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools (Clay, Outreach, Apollo, or similar outbound platforms)
  • Player-coach experience mentoring junior salespeople (formal or informal)
  • Spanish language skills (bonus for connecting with Latin American talent pool)
  • Public speaking and presentation experience for thought leadership and client-facing events
