What You’ll Be Doing
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Roku applications using BrightScript and SceneGraph.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging, high-quality streaming experiences.
- Integrate RESTful APIs, analytics SDKs, and streaming services to enhance functionality.
- Ensure smooth performance across devices, adhering to security and accessibility standards.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement in development processes.
- Support release management, debugging, and CI/CD automation for production deployments.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience developing and releasing Roku/CTV applications in BrightScript.
- Strong understanding of SceneGraph, Roku’s development tools, and publishing workflows.
- Experience with streaming media integration, API communication, and user interface design for TV platforms.
- Familiarity with Git, Agile delivery, and collaborative remote work environments.
- A proactive problem-solver who values clean code, teamwork, and great user experiences.
- Bonus: experience with other smart TV platforms (FireTV, Apple TV, AndroidTV) or front-end frameworks such as React or React Native.
This is a fully remote position open to candidates based in Europe or regions with compatible time zones. To ensure effective collaboration with our client and team, candidates must maintain a 6-hour overlap with Eastern U.S. business hours.
