seamless workforce management. As we expand our staffing operations in the European region, we need a strategic operator to join our remote team and focus on the German-speaking market.


Job Summary

As a Lifecycle & People Operations Specialist, you’ll manage the full employee journey for temporary workers in select countries in Europe, particularly the German speaking regions. This fully remote role is perfect for a fluent German speaker with HR or operations experience who is eager to learn and be qualified under various jurisdictions such as Austria and Germany. Based anywhere in the EU/EEA, you’ll help keep everything compliant and running smoothly, while we fully fund your path to any required qualifications needed in your role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end EOR lifecycle for employees in EU countries, including onboarding, contract management, payroll processing, benefits administration, and offboarding, especially in Austria, Germany and Switzerland
  • Conduct compliance audits and risk assessments to ensure all EOR activities adhere to legal standards and EU directives.
  • Stay on top of regulations related to, posted worker notifications, and staff leasing laws.
  • Help build simple, reliable HR processes for payroll, reporting, and compliance tracking.
  • Support recruiting by sourcing candidates, screening applications, interviewing and preparing contracts.
  • Share clear insights on performance, costs, and compliance.
  • Train to pass any required exams as required in DACH jurisdictions, which will be 100% funded
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for EOR engagements, ensuring data privacy compliance under GDPR.
  • Support cross-functional teams in resolving EOR-related issues, such as visa support, work permits, and dispute resolution.
  • Monitor changes in labour legislation and update internal processes and client advisories accordingly.


Requirements

  • Fluent in German (native or C1) and comfortable in English; extra languages as Dutch are a bonus.
  • 3–5 years in HR, payroll, recruitment, or operations, ideally in staffing or global teams.
  • Familiarity with European employment laws; experience with cross-border work or compliance is helpful.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal requirements and apply them to practical EOR scenarios.
  • Education: University degree (Business, HR, Law, or related) or vocational training + 2 years exp
  • Must be based in the EU/EEA with valid work rights DACH countries
  • Comfortable with HR tools and spreadsheets (Excel/Sheets) and legal text.
  • Strong communicator and great with people, clients, colleagues, and details.
  • Curious, proactive, organized, and ready to learn.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in temporary staffing, EOR, HR, or agency operations.
  • Keen interest in labour laws in the DACH region (we’ll help guide you on the rest).
  • Experience working with DACH / EU clients or in a remote, distributed team environment.
  • Any HR or compliance certification is a plus.
