Customer Identity & Access Management (CIAM) Product Manager
Package: $200k+ | Major Enterprise | Greenfield Build | Flexible Location
Ready to take ownership of a customer identity function and build CIAM capability from the ground up?
We’re searching for an experienced CIAM Product Manager to lead strategy, roadmap, design, and delivery for customer identity across multiple digital channels. Reporting directly to the Head of IDAM, you’ll be the subject-matter expert who defines what “good” looks like for customer authentication, security, and seamless digital experiences.
This is a newly created role with significant investment approved, a major transformation underway, and huge scope to shape the future of customer identity within a large, complex enterprise.

What you’ll be doing
- Own the end-to-end CIAM strategy and roadmap across customer digital touchpoints.
- Shape and drive a major uplift program covering architecture, authentication flows, security controls, UX friction points, and customer experience improvements.
- Lead product direction across CIAM platforms, ensuring consistency, scalability, and reliability.
- Work with engineering, digital, security and architecture teams to deliver modern CIAM capabilities.
- Balance seamless customer journeys with robust security controls.
- Monitor performance metrics such as login success, latency, error rates, and drop-off.
- Stay across CIAM trends and emerging technologies, bringing forward-thinking ideas to leadership.
- Communicate product risks, updates, priorities, and metrics to senior stakeholders.
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years across CIAM / IDAM / customer identity within complex digital environments.
- Strong understanding of CIAM technologies (Okta, Auth0, OAuth/OIDC, SAML, API integrations).
- A blend of technical grounding with strong business and product thinking.
- Experience influencing customer-facing digital channels — ideal backgrounds include Retail e-commerce, Mid-tier financial services or Online platforms with large customer volumes
- Ability to design identity journeys that balance UX, friction, and security.
- Strong stakeholder skills with the ability to translate technical detail into business impact.
- Experience delivering uplift programs or owning product direction in identity/security.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor are an advantage.
