About the Role

A leading global organisation in the life sciences sector is seeking an OT Security Architecture Lead to shape and govern cybersecurity architecture across industrial systems, networks, and cloud environments. This is a strategic role focused on designing robust multilevel security controls and ensuring adherence to best practices across operational technology (OT) and IT ecosystems.

What You Will Do

  • Design, integrate, and maintain cybersecurity architectures for systems and networks with complex security requirements
  • Conduct security reviews, identify vulnerabilities, and define mitigation plans
  • Assess proposed architectures to ensure alignment with security guidelines and industry standards
  • Define and document security control requirements, hardening measures, and protection needs for OT/IT systems
  • Research and adopt evolving security standards and technologies to build modern cloud security architectures
  • Ensure compliance with core security concepts such as authentication, auditing, data anonymisation, SSL, API security, microservices, IaC, and containerisation

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent experience
  • 6–10 years of hands-on experience in IT networks, cloud solutions, or application security
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with formal project methodologies
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation abilities
  • Proficient in English; German is an advantage
