About Raidiam

Raidiam is the global organisation at the forefront of data sharing technologies that are changing the world. We believe in empowering everyone to share their data safely, securely and simply; in a trusted and consented way; creating the potential to be seamlessly connected to the products and services they need.

Since our inception, Raidiam has been the enabling force behind the world’s most significant data sharing developments, including Open Finance and Open Insurance in Brazil. We continue to be called upon by governments, regulators and businesses to provide advice and technical support to achieve their data sharing ambitions.

We work from the centre – creating ecosystems with solid foundations to establish and nurture trust, the key to any successful data sharing. This makes us unique as the only provider in the market to operate from the core.

What will your role as our Junior Engineer look like?

You’d be joining as a Junior Member of our team helping the Conformance Suite team create the Functional Tests that are required for an Institution to be able to formally enter a Data Sharing Ecosystem, like Open Finance and Open Insurance. In your first year at Raidiam will learn best practices around code development with Java and acquire a good understanding around OAuth 2.0, FAPI and Open Finance APIs.

You should be enthusiastic and motivated with a strong desire to keep learning and improving by working with excellent engineers and assisting others.

Key responsibilities:

  • Participate in Conformance Suite Scrum and Planning Meetings as an engineer, collaborating closely with QA and Product teams on test definition.
  • Develop Functional Conformance Tests for various Open Finance APIs using Java, adhering to the Functional API specifications provided by different Data Sharing Ecosystems.
  • Collaborate with Raidiam QA and Product teams to address concerns with Data Sharing Ecosystem representatives related to conformance tests.
  • Review and critically analyse Functional API Specifications from various Data Sharing Ecosystems, ensuring alignment with international requirements.
  • Adhere to industry-standard agile software design methodologies for both development and documentation.
  • Support, whenever required, Raidiam Infrastructure and Security Engineers in maintaining the Conformance Suite Application Infrastructure. This encompasses: CI/CD Pipelines, Terraform, Dockers, K8s and Multiple AWS Services.

Essential skills and experience:

  • A degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related discipline.
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Junior Engineer or Graduate Engineer in either a Financial Institution or a Technology Start-up.
  • Proven experience with Java and code versioning software such as GIT.
  • Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Have a can do attitude.
  • Be curious and willing to learn about Identity and Access Management Profiles, such as OAuth 2.0, FAPI and everything that is required from a technical standpoint for Open Finance to happen.
