Software Engineer – EdTech Learning Platform (Remote | US)
Experience: 3+ years
About the Role:
We’re partnering with a fast-growing EdTech startup building an interactive, AI-powered learning platform used by students and educators across the U.S.
As a Software Engineer, you’ll help design and build the core features that power personalised learning, real-time assessments, and content delivery at scale.
You’ll work closely with product, data, and content teams to create tools that make learning more engaging, accessible, and effective.
What You’ll Do:
- Build new product features across front-end and back-end services
- Develop APIs and microservices supporting assessments, user progress, and analytics
- Implement real-time collaboration tools for students and instructors
- Work with the AI team to integrate recommendation models and personalised learning paths
- Ensure accessibility, security, and performance across the platform
Skills & Tools:
- JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Vue
- Backend experience with Node.js or Python
- REST + GraphQL APIs
- Experience with AWS/GCP, serverless functions, CI/CD pipelines
- Bonus: experience with edtech standards (LTI, SCORM), accessibility (WCAG), or AI-driven learning tools
