Product Owner - ADAS & Navigation Software
- Eindhoven, NL - 2 days per week on-site
- Long-term Project - Initial 6-months + Extensions
- Freelance Contract or Fixed-term Employment (HSM Sponsorship Available)
- Rate Up To 80 EUR Per Hour (depending on experience)

We’re supporting a global leader in digital maps and location technology based in Eindhoven, developing advanced mapping solutions for ADAS Navigation systems
To make that happen, they are searching for an experienced Product Owner who can bridge the gaps between Engineering Managers, Product Managers and Program Management. Someone is needed who really owns outcomes, not just tickets.
You’ll be embedded in cross-functional engineering teams building Java-based microservices and APIs for map data, routing, and location-based products used by automotive and enterprise customers.
Your focus:
Own and shape the product backlog
- Translate product strategy into clear, value-driven epics and user stories.
- Ruthlessly prioritise based on impact, dependencies and technical constraints.
- Continuously refine the backlog as new data, experiments and stakeholder input arrive.
Be the voice of the customer and the business
- Work closely with PMs, EMs and architects to align on goals and trade-offs.
- Turn customer / market insights into concrete problems to solve for the team.
- Say “no” when needed and explain why in a way that earns trust.
Guide delivery without micromanaging
- Lead sprint planning with crisp context, clear acceptance criteria and well-defined outcomes.
- Review and accept work based on behaviour, performance and UX – not just “definition of done”.
- Help unblock the team by clarifying scope, resolving ambiguity and making decisions.
Keep strategy and execution connected
- Communicate product vision and success metrics so engineers understand why they’re building something.
- Maintain a practical view of the market: users, competitors, data trends and risks.
