Job Description
We are seeking a Director of IT Systems to lead all aspects of IT infrastructure, cloud environments, security, and enterprise systems within our advertising technology organization. This role oversees IT operations/support, system reliability, cloud management, and compliance while directing a high-performing technical team. Expertise in M365/Intune/Entra ID/Exchange/Azure, and AWS, is required. Experience with NetSuite, Telestream/Vantage, AWS Elemental, Jira/GitHub/DevOps and PostgreSQL/Neo4j is highly beneficial. This job is fully remote.
Responsibilities
- Lead IT operations, infrastructure management, cloud platforms, and systems strategy.
- Manage and support Microsoft environments (Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Intune).
- Administer and optimize AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Oversee security programs, compliance standards, risk management, and incident response.
- Direct a team of IT professionals; manage staffing, performance, and development.
- Maintain and enhance enterprise systems, including NetSuite (preferred).
- Support integrations, APIs, and technology workflows related to advertising distribution platforms.
- Manage databases, data systems, and related operations to ensure performance and integrity.
- Develop and maintain IT policies, SOPs, documentation, and disaster recovery plans.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Engineering, Product Management) to optimize systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in IT leadership, IT administration or senior IT operations roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Azure AD/Entra ID/Intune.
- Advanced experience with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Solid understanding of security, compliance, governance, and best practices (SOC2, ISO, GDPR, etc.).
- Proven experience leading and developing technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with systems administration, infrastructure design, and cloud services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with NetSuite administration or ERP integrations.
- Background in advertising technology, ad distribution systems, or media workflows.
- Knowledge of database management (SQL/NoSQL, ETL, data pipelines, RDS).
- Experience in fast-paced SaaS, AdTech, or technology-driven environments.
