Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Penetration Tester. The intern will assist in identifying and addressing (AI) security and privacy vulnerabilities through hands-on penetration testing, application security evaluations, reverse engineering tasks, and aiding with red teaming exercises. Additional responsibilities include supporting malware analysis and providing insights to improve cybersecurity frameworks. The position will offer valuable experience in the cybersecurity field while contributing to the safety and protection of BrainBite's learning platform.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Reverse Engineering and Malware Analysis
- Knowledge of Application Security and experience with identifying vulnerabilities
- Understanding of Red Teaming methodologies
- Foundational knowledge of Cybersecurity with an interest in ethical hacking and defensive strategies
- Passion for learning and staying updated with the latest cybersecurity tools and techniques
- Familiarity with scripting languages and penetration testing tools is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program or have equivalent knowledge/experience in cybersecurity
