About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Data Analyst with a strong background in Tableau, SQL, and healthcare analytics. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design dashboards, build datasets, and deliver insights that support key business and clinical decisions. This position is fully remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
- Write, troubleshoot, and refine SQL queries for reporting, data validation, and analysis.
- Analyze healthcare claims, encounter data, utilization trends, and operational performance metrics.
- Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and integrity across multiple sources.
- Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable format.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Tableau (dashboard development, published data sources, performance optimization).
- Strong SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, data modeling concepts).
- Solid understanding of healthcare datasets, terminology, and reporting workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment.
- Experience working with Medicaid data sets, state programs, or managed care organizations.
- Knowledge of value-based care, HEDIS, risk adjustment, or claims adjudication.
