Job Description
Title: HRIS Data Visualization Specialist
Term: 3-month contract - ASAP since the new system goes live in January
Pay: $34/Hr - Max Bill Rate = $68/Hr
Location: Fully Remote - will work with someone in Las Vegas, so probably CST, MST or PST is preferred
Summary: HRIS Data Validation Specialist for a full-time, 100% remote role to support the ongoing migration of employee data from Workday to Rippling. The migration has encountered data discrepancies, and this role will play a critical role in identifying, analyzing, and resolving these issues to ensure seamless data transfer, compliance, and operational continuity. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Workday reporting and Excel-based data analysis, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in HR data management, preferably with Workday
- Strong understanding of HR data elements (e.g., employee records, compensation, time-off balances).
- Advanced Excel skills for spreadsheets using formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional formatting
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to handle sensitive confidential information.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a full-time setting.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with HRIS migration projects or data integration tools like Workday EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder) or CSV Import.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations and audit processes.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pull and export custom reports from Workday, including employee demographics, payroll data, benefits enrollment, and performance records.
- Analyze large Excel spreadsheets (using formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional formatting) to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, missing values, and formatting errors between source (Workday) and target (Rippling) datasets.
