Job Description


Summary

The primary purpose of the Sr Systems Analyst position is to provide direct Engineering Support and Administration to the CyberArk Endpoint Privilege Management (EPM) solution for the institution. Provides leadership to teams of technicians and/or other professional staff.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of macOS, enterprise deployment tools, and scripting for automation.

Analysis and Evaluation of Client Computing Technologies

Evaluates, tests, and/or configures software packaging requests based on current capabilities within the Desktop Computing infrastructure. Develop and documents new processes and procedures that may arise and provide Change Management standards where applicable. Analyzes/evaluates requirements in the Desktop Computing environment for the Desktop Operating Systems and Institutional Software for on-going support of the hardware and software that is utilized throughout the enterprise. Where applicable, implements, modifies, or upgrades software products to conform to standards defined by Institutional Compliance and/or Institutional Policies. Gathers relevant information systematically. Breaks down problems into simple components and Makes sound decisions.

Knowledge Sharing

Initiates, develops, and manages relationships and networks. Shows sincere interest in others and their concerns. Evaluates issues/concerns regarding Desktop Computing and other relevant technologies to determine impact within the infrastructure. Where applicable, disseminates information based on key findings and research/implement possible solutions with the Technical Services staff.

Project Participation

Leads or participates in project work sessions with staff members and users to discuss priorities and resource allocations, and functions. Provides technical expertise to align with institutional standards and facilitate project goals. Where applicable, evaluates, tests, and documents risk and provide feedback to the project team.

Client Computing Technology Support

Provides assistance, as needed, to the Technical Services staff members when an issue impacts multiple devices and the Technical Services staff has exhausted their capabilities. Follows-up on any problems that may require technical expertise, and/or external interaction. Where applicable, provides documentation and/or resolutions to the Technical Services staff to improve their workload efficiency and knowledge.

EDU CATION

  • Required: Bachelor's degree
  • Preferred: Master's degree

Work Experience

  • Required: 5 years experience in analysis/design/project management/programming.
  • May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.

Preferred Experience

  • Apple Macintosh expert with extensive experience in managing Apple devices across an enterprise environment.
  • Deep understanding of macOS, enterprise deployment tools, ad scripting for automation.
  • Strong experience with JAMF Pro, Microsoft Intune, and Apple Business Manager.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or AppleScript.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and secure macOS devices in large-scale environments.
  • Familiarity with industrial compliance standards and security frameworks.

Preferred Certification: One or more of the following: Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), CompTIA A+, HP Accredited Systems Engineer (ASE), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), and/or VMware Certified Design Expert (VCDX).

Work Schedule: This position has a hybrid onsite/remote schedule. Individual will be required to be onsite periodically.
