Job Description

About Our Client

Our client puts its people first, full stop. This allows its company culture to be defined by team members and their shared values, like trust, ambition, quality, radical honesty, and compassionate leadership. It’s why team members really love working for the Hardest Working Software in Television™ (and also why the organization was named one of Ad Age’s Best Places To Work in 2024.)

The company prides itself on bringing unrivaled performance and simplicity to Connected TV advertising. Its self-serve technology makes running TV ads as easy as search and social, helping brands drive measurable conversions, revenue, site visits, and more. It’s what led the organization to being named one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies in 2023.

The organization is committed to innovation that empowers, not replaces. At this company, AI is a tool for growth, enhancing efficiency while keeping a people-first approach. The goal is to streamline workflows and drive new solutions—without compromising the human element that makes the company great.

So if wanting to do more, own more, and make a bigger impact comes naturally, then this may be the role for the next stage of growth.

About The Role

Our client is looking for an IT Systems Administrator who can make SaaS apps behave, automate the boring stuff, and keep its digital house running smoother than a fresh jar of Skippy. If a brain defaults to “automate first” and APIs are seen as more of a playground than a challenge, this individual will fit right in.

The IT team may be small, but the impact is massive — it keeps the organization firing on all cylinders. This role will be connecting the dots between tools like Okta, Google, Atlassian, Slack, and Zoom , making everything play nicely together. It’s a chance to help shape how work is done, simplify the chaos, and build systems that scale smarter (not harder).

Key Responsibilities

  • Turn repetitive IT tasks into automation magic
  • Integrate SaaS tools with the organization's SSO and IdP like a digital locksmith
  • Help define and refine IT standards so things stay consistent (and sane)
  • Configure and manage SSO across applications — keeping logins simple and secure
  • Jump in to handle all things IT as they pop up — from small fixes to big builds

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience with System Administration
  • 4+ years working in an IT environment that includes Mac, Windows and Outlook
  • Experience with Python or other similar scripting language
  • Extensive experience with Google Workspace
  • Extensive experience with Okta
  • Knowledge of SAML, SCIM, OIDC and experience with integrating applications with IdP
  • Knowledge of DNS
  • Knowledge of email and email security including DMARC, DKIM, SPF, techniques to help with phishing, etc
  • Experience assisting with various compliance audits including SOC2 and SOX
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with an IdP is a plus
  • Experience with Atlassian administration a big plus
  • Experience with email migrations between different platforms is a plus
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements

Additional Information

  • 100% remote within the US
  • Flexible vacation policy
  • Annual vacation allowance for travel related expenses
  • Three-day weekend every month of the year
  • Competitive compensation
  • 100% healthcare coverage
  • 401k plan
  • Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for dependent, medical, and dental care
  • Access to coaching, therapy, and professional development
