We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and hands-on IT Manager to lead our technology operations and ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of our IT environment. In this role, you will oversee IT systems, infrastructure, security policies, and internal technology support across the organisation.
🎯 Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the IT function, including infrastructure, systems, security, and internal support
- Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of hardware, software, networks, and cloud systems
- Establish and enforce IT policies, procedures, and security standards
- Ensure high availability and performance of all critical systems and services
- Manage IT vendors, procurement, licensing, and contract negotiations
- Troubleshoot escalated issues and support day-to-day IT operations
- Drive IT strategy, including scalability planning, automation opportunities, and technology upgrades
- Collaborate closely with Security, Engineering, Operations, HR, and other teams
- Lead incident response processes and ensure proper documentation and reporting
- Maintain IT asset inventory, system diagrams, and compliance documentation
- Support onboarding/offboarding workflows and access management
- 4+ years of experience in IT management, system administration, network administration, or similar roles
- Strong understanding of networks, IT infrastructure, cloud systems, and security best practices
- Experience managing SaaS tools, identity access management (IAM), and endpoint management solutions
- Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR) is a plus
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills
- Experience managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology procurement
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Must be based in Ireland with full working rights
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with MDM, SSO, and automation tools (Intune, Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace Admin, etc.)
- Background in fast-growing tech or SaaS environments
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CCNA, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, ITIL, CISSP (or working towards them)
- Experience managing small IT teams or contractors
