Job Description
Converse Mobile is seeking an experienced A2P SMS Firewall & Routing Engineer with up to 3 years of experience in managing Firewall operations and analytics.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, optimizing, and maintaining SMS firewall systems and routing infrastructure to ensure secure, high-quality A2P messaging delivery. You will collaborate with internal teams, operators, and partners to protect networks from fraud, enhance routing efficiency, and maintain compliance with global messaging standards.
Location: Fully Remote
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, monitor, and optimize SMS firewall platforms.
- Detect and prevent SMS fraud types such as SIMbox, spoofing, spam, grey routes, and bypass traffic.
- Perform continuous tuning of filtering rules, machine-learning thresholds, and anti-fraud algorithms.
- Generate and analyse firewall reports for traffic anomalies and suspicious patterns.
- Track delivery KPIs (DLR, latency, throughput, success rate) and improve network performance.
- Work closely with NOC and technical teams on incident management and root cause analysis.
- Provide daily/weekly traffic insights and improvement recommendations.
