We’re looking for a Backend Engineer, with hands-on experience in Java 8/11, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and related technologies. Important Note:
This position requires relocation to Málaga, Spain. While relocation is being arranged, the selected candidate will work remotely during Spanish working hours (CET). Once in Málaga, the role will be hybrid, combining onsite and remote work days.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in Java (8 and 11) with deep knowledge of Java core concepts.
- 3 years of experience.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring Cloud Stream.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, Postman.
- Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redis.
- Continuous Integration tools: Git, GitHub, Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub Actions.
- Application servers and containers: WebSphere, OpenShift.
- Experience with batch processes and J2EE frameworks (Struts, Spring MVC, Hibernate, JSP, Servlets).
- Fluent English (B2-C1).
Nice to Have:
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience with Control-M workflow automation.
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
- Understanding of microservices architecture and APIs (REST, SOAP, OpenAPI).
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures using Kafka.
- Reactive programming.
- Financial products and Confirming core knowledge.
- Fluent Spanish (native or B2-C1).
