DevOps Engineer

ShortList Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to join a market-leading tech firm on a fully remote basis.


Our client is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a small, collaborative team working across AWS, Azure and GCP to build, automate and support cloud-native platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on automation, scalability and resilience, working closely with development and infrastructure teams to turn business needs into production-ready solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Automate deployment, infrastructure provisioning and operational workflows using IaC and GitOps practices
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releases
  • Implement monitoring, logging and alerting to improve system visibility and reliability
  • Enhance security across cloud environments and remediate vulnerabilities
  • Troubleshoot production issues, support incident response and drive post-incident improvements
  • Work with development and infrastructure teams to design scalable, resilient cloud-native services
  • Identify bottlenecks, reduce manual processes and improve system performance and availability


Skills:

  • Hands-on experience with at least two major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Strong understanding of security fundamentals and CI/CD security risks
  • Proficiency with CI/CD automation and pipeline tooling
  • Strong focus on GitOps and Infrastructure as Code
  • Experience deploying and running workloads on Kubernetes
  • Practical experience with declarative orchestration / configuration tools in production


The DevOps Engineer role is remote and offers a salary up to £70,000 plus great benefits.
