Job Description
We are helping a company from the Inveready’s venture capital vertical portfolio find their Business Analyst to integrate and help them lead their business strategy and fundraising efforts.
Intelex Vision, the portfolio company, is one of the brightest and fastest growing companies within Inveready’s portfolio. Its best-in-class proprietary technology provides real-time security and operational intelligence powered by AI video analytics and has let Intelex Vision become a global company with operations in the USA, Middle East, Europe and other relevant regions.
Within the past 4 years, the company has been funded and supported by three of the leading venture capitals in the Spanish ecosystem, including:
- Adara Ventures: backing the top founders around Europe in building mainly enterprise and technology-heavy products (€350M AUM).
- Acurio Ventures: sector-agnostic mindset and empowering operators with a hands-on entrepreneurial approach (€300M AUM).
- Inveready: supporting high-growth digital tech & industrial companies from Series A onwards (€2.500M AUM).
The applicant will report to the founding team including the CEO and the rest of the C-level. Additionally, it will also handle communication and reporting directly to the shareholders and the board of the company including Adara, Acurio and Inveready.
Main tasks include (not limited to):
Fundraising
- Carry out all tasks related to the fundraising processes, including coordination with the CEO and the C-level, and support in presentations or meetings with investors. That includes but it’s not limited to 2-3 weekly meetings and keeping track of potential investors (sending documentation, resolving doubts, etc.).
- Independently attending European startup events as well as handling meetings and conversations with potential investors.
Strategy
- Support the strategic planning process, identifying key market opportunities and fine-tuning the company’s pitch deck to resonate with potential partners and customers.
- Drive growth by crafting and executing innovative market entry strategies that fuel business expansion.
- Shape and communicate a compelling value proposition that positions the company as a market leader, ensuring alignment with evolving industry needs.
Financial modeling
- Update the financial model when needed and keep it up to date and well presented.
- Supervise and coordinate with the CEO and CFO to ensure unified and controlled financial oversight.
- Ensure the periodic and accurate preparation of financial reporting for partners and investors.
Ideal candidates
- Minimum experience of 3+ years in similar roles in private equity, M&A, venture capital, a Tier 1 consulting firm (MBB) or a fast-growing tech startup. We value both finance and business expertise.
- Proficiency in English.
