We’re looking for a QA Engineer with ION experience. As part of the ION QA team, you will work closely with development teams to test high-performance exchange connections and complex trading functionalities. You will analyze requirements for end-to-end testing, create test design documentation, execute tests, and ensure optimal functionality and usability throughout the development lifecycle.
Important Note:
This position requires relocation to Málaga, Spain. While relocation is being arranged, the selected candidate will work remotely during Spanish working hours (CET). Once in Málaga, the role will be hybrid, combining onsite and remote work days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze requirements to design and execute end-to-end test plans.
- Provide early feedback on usability and functionality during analysis and development stages.
- Perform release testing within set timelines to deliver bug-free solutions.
- Create and maintain test scenarios aligned with software releases.
- Monitor and troubleshoot test executions.
- Report and document test evidence and anomalies.
- Collaborate within Agile frameworks (Scrum) using tools like JIRA.
- Work with CI workflows and source code management tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and BitBucket.
Technical Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in testing, including 2+ years working with ION platforms.
- Experience in Electronic Market platforms and FI Markets.
- Barchelor Degree is mandatory.
- Competent in Python and Java programming.
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data formats like XML and JSON.
- Knowledge of testing tools and methodologies: Gherkin, Cucumber, ALM.
- Ability to analyze and understand logs.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and workflows.
- Agile methodology experience (Scrum).
- English proficiency (B2 level or higher).
