Weβre seeking a Mid-Level Network Engineer to support and enhance enterprise and data center network infrastructure. This role is well-suited for an engineer with strong Cisco routing/switching fundamentals, solid understanding of core networking concepts, and the ability to work across multi-vendor environments.
Youβll handle hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, documentation, and assist with project-based implementation work under senior engineering guidance. Clear communication, professional reliability, and consistent documentation practices are key traits for success in this role.
Network Infrastructure
- Configure and maintain Cisco switching and routing environments (IOS, NX-OS)
- Support Layer 2/3 network topologies including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and spanning tree
- Manage IP addressing, subnetting, NAT, DNS, DHCP, and core network services
- Work with Juniper, Arista, or Mellanox devices in mixed-vendor networks
- Perform disciplined, methodical troubleshooting using CLI, packet captures, and monitoring tools
- Identify root causes and assist with remediation efforts
- Support stable operations through device hardening, ACL management, and VPN configuration
- Participate in small-scale design and implementation efforts
- Follow established change-management processes
- Work alongside senior engineers on data center and enterprise deployments
- Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, and runbooks
- Produce clear configuration notes and operational guides
- Contribute to audit readiness, compliance standards, and process improvements
- Continue developing skills in automation tooling (Python, Ansible)
- Apply foundational security awareness across firewall rules, VPN access, and device hardening
- Collaborate across teams with mature, professional communication
- 3β6 years in enterprise or data center networking roles
- Strong Cisco routing/switching fundamentals (IOS, NX-OS)
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, DNS, DHCP, NAT, QoS, and core networking concepts
- Familiarity with one or more additional vendors: Juniper, Arista, Mellanox
- Basic exposure to automation/scripting (Python, Ansible preferred)
- Awareness of firewall concepts, VPNs, authentication, and security access controls
- Strong troubleshooting skills and disciplined diagnostic methodology
- Excellent documentation habits and written/verbal communication
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP (Enterprise or Data Center)
- Juniper JNCIA or Arista ACE-A
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent
- Clear, consistent communication with technical and non-technical teams
- Ability to manage tasks independently and follow structured processes
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and professional maturity
