We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Engineer with a strong Service Provider background to architect, deploy, and optimize large-scale carrier-grade IP networks. This role is ideal for someone who has extensive hands-on experience with Juniper MX/QFX/EX, Arista 7000 series, Mellanox/NVIDIA gear, BGP-heavy environments, MPLS, and modern VXLAN/EVPN data center fabrics.
Key ResponsibilitiesNetwork Architecture & Design- Architect SP-grade L2/L3 networks using Juniper MX/EX/QFX, Arista 7000 series, and Mellanox/NVIDIA
- Design and operate large-scale BGP systems (iBGP/eBGP, RPKI, policy, prefix filtering)
- Build VXLAN/EVPN spineβleaf fabrics for multi-tenant data centers
- Engineer architectures supporting IXPs, carrier Ethernet, and hyperscale environments
- Deploy and maintain MPLS (L2VPN/L3VPN), RSVP/TE, and Segment Routing
- Design and support high-availability routing (ECMP, LAG, MC-LAG, redundant RE designs)
- Optimize peering, transit, and interconnect routing
- Troubleshoot large-scale routing issues, BGP convergence, RSVP/SR problems, hardware failures
- Perform ISSU/NSR migrations, upgrades, routing engine failover testing
- Lead root-cause analysis and document corrective actions
- Automate using Python, Ansible, NETCONF/REST APIs
- Build CI/CD-style network pipelines and automated validation frameworks
- Enhance telemetry and monitoring (gNMI, JTI, Prometheus, Influx)
- Engineer connections to Equinix, Digital Realty, CoreSite, CloudHQ, and hyperscale POPs
- Deploy DCI, cross-connects, DWDM integrations
- Turn up transit and peering sessions
- Implement AAA, RADIUS/TACACS, infrastructure hardening
- Apply BGP security: RPKI, max-prefix, damping, BCP38/84
- 7β12 years in ISP, carrier, colo, or hyperscale network engineering
- Strong expertise in Juniper MX/QFX/EX, Arista 7000 series, Mellanox/NVIDIA
- Deep knowledge of BGP, OSPF/ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, VXLAN/EVPN
- Experience with POP operations and high-availability routing architectures
- JNCIP-SP or JNCIE-SP (strong preference)
- CCNP-SP / CCIE-SP
- Arista ACE-L3
- Linux/automation certifications
