Responsibilities
Job Description
- Create test plans, test cases, test automation scripts, and prepare test environments.
- Perform moderately complex functional, application, integration, and regression testing.
- Plan and schedule testing tasks to ensure products meet business requirements and design specifications.
- Develop and execute manual and automated test procedures.
- Identify, analyze, document, and report defects.
- Collaborate effectively with client teams and third-party vendors.
- Apply standard testing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Understand software development life cycle (SDLC) and software development methodologies.
- Work closely with customers throughout the testing cycle as needed.
- Interpret requirement documents and update test documentation accordingly.
- Utilize documentation and bug-tracking tools such as Azure DevOps.
- Use version control systems such as Azure DevOps for managing test artifacts.
- Perform Functional, Integration, Regression, Database, Browser Compatibility, Accessibility, and Security testing.
- Handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork, interpersonal skills, and communication abilities.
- Apply proven problem-solving skills to resolve issues proactively.
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
- 8 years - Required:
- Quality Assurance testing in an IT technical environment with experience managing testing under tight timelines.
- 5 years - Required:
- Test automation experience, including minimum 2 years with Playwright + Python.
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- 3 years - Required:
- Experience using Azure DevOps for QA Testing and Test Management.
- Experience deploying code using Azure CI/CD pipelines and integrating automation into pipelines.
- 2 years - Required:
- Experience with automation test reporting tools such as Allure.
- Experience working in an Azure cloud environment.
- Ability to write SQL queries and create query-based test cases.
- 1 year - Required:
- API testing experience using Postman or Swagger.
- Experience working in the public sector.
