Staff Product Security Engineer - Limerick (4 Days Onsite)
Full-time | Visa sponsorship available | Sign-on bonus option

Location: Limerick, Ireland (4 days onsite required)

Responsibilities

  • Guide and mentor the Product Security team, including junior engineer development

  • Drive security planning, prioritisation, and delivery across products

  • Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement

  • Integrate secure-by-design principles into all phases of the product lifecycle

  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, and vulnerability management

  • Collaborate with R&D, IT, Quality, and Regulatory teams

  • Translate security strategy into actionable implementation plans

  • Perform code reviews and provide actionable recommendations

  • Support incident management and security documentation

  • Ensure compliance with development policies and quality procedures

About You

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 10+ years' experience in cybersecurity architecture, secure software development, and/or embedded security

  • Proven leadership and team-management experience

  • Strong hands-on knowledge of encryption, PKI, and authentication technologies

  • Experience with dynamic/static code analysis and secure coding practices

  • Understanding of network security and emerging threat vectors

  • Experience working in regulated environments

  • Excellent stakeholder communication and interpersonal skills
