Job Description


Job Overview

This position is based in TE’s office campus in Bengaluru, along with around 20 other strategists. India is an important business hub for TE, with over 2,000 employees, including R&D, Engineering, Strategy, and other functions. TE will offer domestic relocation support to Bangalore if needed.

The Sr Analyst will help solve the most important global strategic questions across TE Connectivity, such as:

  • Help identify new growth platforms, growth opportunities within business units, and across businesses – through the identification of attractive market space
  • Help develop strategies that drive above-market organic and inorganic growth,
  • Gather real-time input as the external environment (e.g., technology, customer needs, regulations, competitors, etc.) evolves.
  • Determine what it takes to win, assessing competitive position and business models, and then helping the organizing to align on the strategic direction and execution plan

Job Requirements

  • Collaborate within corporate strategy and with business unit teams to solve complex business problems
  • Translate business requests into well-defined problems
  • Perform FTAM (Future Total Addressable Market) assessments to identify new growth areas that determine where we will play and how can we win
  • Develop growth strategies for existing/new markets and product lines across business units
  • Identify key trends across markets, industries, and competitors that affect our businesses
  • Create analytical models and business cases to address key business questions and translate output into clear findings and recommendations
  • Support the successful development and deployment of the annual strategy development process and Board of Directors review
  • Conceptualize and determine portfolio rationalization/prioritization initiatives to improve our profitability
  • Support with M&A target identification and due diligence

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA or another advanced degree from a top program is desirable
  • 2-3 years of experience with a top tier General Management Consulting Firm, with a focus on high tech or diversified industrials clients, is preferred but not required.
  • International experience or exposure a plus
  • Experience creating presentations and communicating ideas and plans
  • Excellent with MS-Excel and MS-PPT; proficiency in data analytics suite (Tableau, Alteryx) is a plus
  • Track record of demonstrated leadership potential through academics, work, and/or community activities
  • Strong sense of tact, confidentiality, and maturity
