About The Role

The role of the People Compliance Coordinator assists with the day-to-day coordination of people-related compliance activities across HammondCare by providing administrative and operational support.

This role works closely with the People Compliance Lead and other stakeholders to maintain accurate records and facilitate compliance processes.

This is a permanent position, based at St Leonards with hybrid opportunities.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Manage, investigate, analyse, and resolve people compliance related enquiries in Salesforce, providing accurate and timely first-level advice to internal stakeholders
  • Assist with the coordination and tracking of compliance checks (e.g., Working Rights, Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Checks, NDIS, Working with Children, Responsible Persons, Professional Registration, Immunisation, and other regulatory requirements) for employees
  • Support the timely renewal and updating of compliance checks in Workday, ensuring records are accurate and accessible
  • Respond to routine enquiries from employees and managers regarding compliance requirements, escalating complex issues to the People Compliance Lead
  • Conduct VEVO checks via the government portal and help maintain access for relevant team members
  • Provide administrative support for visa-related processes, including preparing documentation for sponsorships and Labour Agreement cycles
  • Respond to visa sponsorship enquiries from employees and managers, ensuring accurate guidance and escalating complex issues to the People Compliance Lead
  • Help compile data and prepare reports for audits and compliance reviews, under the guidance of the People Compliance Lead
  • Assist with internal and external audit processes by organising and providing required documentation
  • Stay informed about external reporting requirements and help ensure HammondCare’s compliance records are up to date
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and tasks as required by the People Central Team, focusing on supporting compliance activities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes by sharing feedback and suggestions with the team

About You

  • Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action
  • Demonstrated experience working in a similar role in a People function within a complex business
  • A proactive approach in establishing good working relationships and demonstrating influence with key stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver work to high quality and meticulous attention to detail
  • Confident working with large sets of data with excel

Desirable

  • Experience working within a tier shared services/centralised model
  • Experience using Workday or other HRIS
  • Experience using Salesforce or other CRM system
  • Experience in aged care / health settings
  • Experienced in operating effectively in a multi-site environment
