Role
We are looking for a proactive 1st and 2nd line IT Support Engineer to support our global team in a dynamic startup environment. You will handle daily troubleshooting, device management, security, and onboarding, while managing SaaS accounts and building scalable IT processes.
Responsibilities:
- Support & Troubleshooting
- Resolve 1st/2nd line queries for macOS, Windows, and Linux environments, including network and VPN issues.
- Manage account access and troubleshoot software via Slack and ticketing systems.
- Operations & Administration
- Administer key SaaS tools (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian) and manage asset inventory.
- Execute smooth onboarding/offboarding workflows and maintain device security compliance.
- Growth & Collaboration
- Build and document scalable IT processes, helping to automate routine tasks.
- Collaborate with engineering and ops to support a distributed, remote team.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or similar technical support roles.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across macOS and Windows.
- Experience with account administration and identity management (Okta, Google Workspace, Azure AD, or similar).
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, IP addressing).
- Understanding of modern security practices such as MFA, device policies, and endpoint protection.
- Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with technical and non-technical staff.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with MDM tools (Intune, Jamf, Kandji, or similar).
- Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
- Experience with basic network troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of SaaS administration: Slack, Notion, GitHub, Atlassian, GCP, etc.
