About the Opportunity:
The organization is seeking a GenAI/AI Incubation Lab Lead to drive GenAI, AI, and machine learning initiatives, aligning new technology solutions with business priorities. This role involves partnering with internal teams to identify, shape, and deliver AI solutions, supporting ideation, experimentation, and transitioning use cases into scalable products. The position is fully remote within select US states.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for GenAI, AI, advanced analytics, and LLMs.
• Translate business needs into defined AI use cases aligned with organizational strategy and data capabilities.
• Lead intake, framing, and prioritization of Incubation Lab initiatives with product and delivery leaders.
• Ensure GenAI/AI engagements provide business value, are feasible, and adhere to ethical standards.
• Serve as primary liaison between business units and the Incubation Lab, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Create and deliver presentations, summaries, and narratives for stakeholders regarding GenAI/AI opportunities and outcomes.
• Promote GenAI/AI education, storytelling, and transparency in partnership with data literacy programs.
• Ensure all Lab engagements comply with governance standards, including data privacy, fairness, transparency, and compliance.
• Promote ethical GenAI/AI practices by applying enterprise guidelines throughout engagement lifecycles.
• Support transition of successful pilots into scalable, long-term products with structured handoffs to product, delivery, and platform teams.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Data Science, Analytics, or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Certifications in AI/ML, program management, or product ownership are a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in data, AI/ML, analytics, or digital innovation programs.
• Experience managing stakeholder engagement and delivery across multiple business domains.
• Experience supporting GenAI/AI product development or leading GenAI/AI innovation initiatives in a corporate setting.
• Exposure to cloud-based data and ML ecosystems (AWS preferred).
• Strong understanding of GenAI, AI, ML, and LLM concepts and applications.
• Ability to translate business challenges into data science opportunities.
• Skilled in cross-functional leadership and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Agile mindset, problem-solving, and coordination abilities.
• Interest in innovation and bridging experimentation with execution.

Compensation:
• $140,000 - 150,000
• The salary range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in the Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevance.
