Senior WordPress/WooCommerce Developer (E-commerce Platform)

Location: Bangkok – Hybrid (1–2 days per week at Phrom Phong)

Salary: 60,000 THB per month

UrbanFlowers is a fast-growing e-commerce gifting brand in Bangkok, delivering premium flowers, cakes, hampers, and curated gifts across the city within 3 hours. We are expanding quickly and are looking for a proactive, highly skilled WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to take full ownership of our platform and help build a scalable, high-performance e-commerce experience.

This role is for someone who thinks beyond “just WordPress.” We need an engineer who understands e-commerce, performance, conversion, and UX at a deep level — and who brings solutions, not just completed tasks.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain our WooCommerce-based e-commerce platform.
• Implement new features, product types, plugin integrations, and custom functionalities.
• Improve site structure, stability, and long-term maintainability.
• Work with custom plugins (feeds, analytics, schema, search) and ACF.

• Improve site performance, speed, and Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP).
• Manage caching layers, Cloudflare, Redis, and hosting optimizations.
• Ensure fast, frictionless checkout and product browsing experience.
• Identify and resolve UX issues using data (Hotjar, GA4, Search Console).

• Use AI tools (GPT, Claude, Copilot) for faster debugging, documentation, and code quality.
• Suggest and implement AI-based improvements to processes and workflows.

• Work closely with marketing and product teams to build high-converting landing pages.
• Support Google Merchant Center, Shopping feeds, schema, and tracking.
• Build and maintain pages for flowers, cakes, hampers, gifting, and seasonal campaigns.
• Ensure site readiness for major sales periods (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, New Year).

• Test all deployments thoroughly before rollout.
• Perform proactive audits to identify issues before they affect customers.
• Document changes and maintain clean development processes.
• Take ownership of platform quality, reliability, and long-term evolution.

• 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development.
• Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and custom theme/plugin development.
• Experience with high-traffic e-commerce sites.
• Strong understanding of caching, hosting, speed optimization, and CDNs.
• Experience with Cloudflare, server-side performance, Redis, and database optimization.
• Familiarity with UX, CRO, Hotjar, and analytics-driven development.
• Experience with AI-assisted development workflows.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive attitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a hybrid schedule (1–2 days/week at Phrom Phong office).
• Any nationality welcome; work permit can be provided.
