Job Description


We are hiring multiple System Administrators to support global IT operations, infrastructure management, and enterprise system environments for international clients. These fully remote, long-term freelance roles are ideal for engineers experienced in managing servers, networks, cloud environments, and end-user systems.

Engagement Details
  • Type: Independent Freelance Consultant
  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Duration: 6–12 month initial contract (extendable for multi-year programs)
  • Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks
  • Clients: Global enterprises, SaaS companies, and multinational IT operations teams
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Linux or Windows servers across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of critical applications and infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and resolve incidents quickly.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain virtual machines, cloud instances, and on-prem infrastructure.
  • Manage users, permissions, and security policies across systems.
  • Apply patches, updates, and upgrades for OS, applications, and security components.
  • Support network troubleshooting, firewall rules, VPN access, and connectivity issues.
  • Work with ticketing systems, document resolutions, and follow standard ITIL processes.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to support deployments and operational workflows.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a System Administrator.
  • Strong knowledge of either Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL) or Windows Server administration.
  • Experience with user management, permissions, and system security best practices.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware, OS, and network issues.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Understanding of backup, recovery, and storage systems.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP.
  • Hands-on experience with endpoint management tools: Intune, SCCM, Jamf.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell, Python).
  • Exposure to monitoring tools (Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Experience in ITIL environments and ticketing tools like ServiceNow or JIRA.
