Job Description
Position: DevOps Engineer (Remote)
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to manage infrastructure, deployment pipelines, CI/CD workflows, and system reliability across both cloud and on-premise environments. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in automation, cloud operations, and server management (including Windows Server and MS SQL).
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for development and production environments.
- Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure across major platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Manage and administer Windows Server environments, including services, security, and monitoring.
- Handle MS SQL Server configuration, backup/restore, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Monitor system performance, uptime, and operational reliability.
- Implement and maintain security, logging, and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support deployments, environment setup, and release processes.
- Troubleshoot system issues, deployments, and environment inconsistencies.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Systems Engineer, System Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration.
- Knowledge of MS SQL Server setup, tuning, and maintenance.
- Proficient with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiar with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar).
- Experience with monitoring tools and logging pipelines.
- Able to communicate effectively in English is a plus.
