Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to join a growing engineering team working on large-scale cloud-native projects. This role is ideal for someone passionate about automation, infrastructure-as-code, and building reliable, scalable cloud platforms. You will collaborate closely with development and architecture teams to design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Support development teams in building and deploying applications on AWS and Linux
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of distributed and event-driven systems
- Troubleshoot complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment
Required Skills & Experience
- Extensive hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, networking, IAM, ECS/EKS, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with GitHub Workflows and CI/CD pipelines
- Deep knowledge of Terraform and IaC best practices
- Experience with Linux-based development environments
- Strong understanding of HTTP APIs, cloud-native architecture, and common integration patterns
- Knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Practical experience with event-driven architectures, ideally Kafka
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
Nice to Have
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with container orchestration (EKS, ECS, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of monitoring/observability tools
